Today I would like to introduce you Jordi Margall, chef and Montserrat´s manager..
Since he was a little boy he already tried to help in the family cooking business, Montserrat Store at Vilafant St, in Figueres, and, when he had the appropriate age, he decided to study in the Culinary School of Figueres to become a professional chef.
As a young cook, he spent some time at the greatest Girona´s restaurants: El Bulli, Miramar, El Celler de Can Roca… where he learned techniques and preparations from the best chefs.
His effort to acquire culinary knowledge and knowing other cultures took him to travel around the world, even Japan, where he went with Young Empordà Cookers team.
Today, Jordi manages, creates and cooks hand in hand with his team at Montserrat Deli-store, Catering, at the convenience food business Gastrònoms and at Swing Gourmet restaurant, where you can taste his new creations.
Now, he also wants to share some of his most emblematic recipes with you all at Montserrat Blog.
